Schematic and Detailed Design Project
Residential rustic villa "Altamira" was thought and designed taking care of every detail.
The clients wanted a stone house in the middle of the mountains,
their rustic dream house.
Before contacting us, they were already thinking for a long time about how they wanted their future home, so they had it very clear.
I better let you read the wishes list that they sent us:
WISHES LIST - RUSTIC VILLA "ALTAMIRA"
Main floor :
Planta alargada en sentido Este-Oeste.
Salón, cocina, 3 dormitorios, baños y escaleras de acceso a planta alta y baja.
Orientación sur para cocina, salón y dormitorio principal
Porche orientado al SUR con fácil acceso desde la cocina (15-20 m2)
Porche orientado al NORTE con fácil acceso desde la cocina (10-15 m2)
Dormitorio principal (12-15 m2 ) con terraza, vestidor independiente y
baño con bañera (1,40 m), ducha y posible separación de inodoro y bidé.
Cocina grande con zona para comer 6/8 personas (20-30 m2)
Cuarto junto a cocina tipo despensa para lavadora.
Salón independiente (25-30 m2)
Dos dormitorios (10-12 m2), uno con cuarto de baño (lavabo, inodoro y ducha)
Aseo cortesía.
Muchos armarios.
Posibilidad de garaje (25 m2) para coche y moto con acceso a vivienda.
Main floor :
Garaje y dos cuartos de almacenaje/juegos/instalaciones.
Planta alta :
Garaje y dos Planta alta (50m2):
Cuarto diáfano, baño con plato de ducha y terraza pequeña sobre porche
Techo abuhardillado con altura mínima de 1,80.
Ah! Y la escalera cerrada qué no se vaya el calor.
Nosotros solos no utilizaremos la parte de arriba.cuartos de almacenaje/juegos/instalaciones.
The garage should be near the kitchen access and north porch.
We proposed them to locate the garage in the north, beacause with this mecanism we are able to protect the main rooms from the cold of the north façade, which is an important aspect to consider in this mountainous area.
The strategy of locating the main parts of the house like the living room, the kitchen and the main bedroom facing the south allows us to control the temperature of the rooms and to enjoy the natural light during the whole day.
And of course, we had special atention to the next detail because It was an special requirement that they had a very clear idea about it:
They wished to have a south porch where they could go out for lunch in winter and to have dinner during the fresh nights in summer.
The pool is set out on a differentiated platform at an intermediate level between the ground floor and the basement but, although linked to the ground floor garden: to be able to watch over the pool area from the south porch and the kitchen.
Era importante para ellos también el tener un garaje al mismo nivel que la planta principal y relacionado con la cocina, aunque tuvieran también una zona de garaje amplia en el semisótano donde seguramente situarían también un taller y una sala de juegos para los niños.
Era una lista de deseos ambiciosa pero con trabajo conseguimos darle forma con todos los puntos requeridos.
